A word that goes in

There are some head hunters who occasionally work spammy. They work by sending out a bunch of group mails or group texts in the form of "broadcasts." It's true that this is comfortable, and in some cases it works, but it's not very preferred by long-time candidates because candidates often don't like it, and it's quite expensive.

1. How and why do I zoom in on the contact

I always put a lot of effort into one-on-one contact, so I work almost one-on-one in a text/mail/telephone/meeting method. Nevertheless, depending on the case, there is a difference in how much detail or rough it is when choosing the contact target. At first, you select it in detail, but when you can't get a successful candidate with those contacts, the next step is to choose it in a rougher way and expand the scope of the contact. You might ask, "Isn't the passing probability going to decrease more and more?" As a popular song goes, "No one can tell which cloud has rained," so that's not necessarily the case.

2. Precautions when zooming in on a contact

However, there are a few things you shouldn't do, no matter how rough you are contacting them, the first is contacting two or more people in the competitor's target department at the same time (there could be rumors within that department). Second, you don't touch places where direct competition is too sharp. (If something like that happens, it can be a big problem.)

That's what I'm saying, but in reality, most people rarely play more than two rounds in a single position. After one cycle, if it doesn't work out, it's another round, and if it doesn't work out, it's a search for another potion. From the third round, it's hard for me, and the candidate's reaction is very low. In fact, the chances of contacting people who have nothing to do with it increase a lot.

However, there are cases where each candidate sent by the client company drops them and forces them to continue with rounds 3, 4, and 5. Then what should I do if I fall behind? That's always homework. The easiest thing is to give up. However, you can't do that too often because it's the client's request.

3. Meet the headhunters who collaborate with other headhunters.

The answer is to get help from other headhunters around you. They will distribute the money and will be distributed to other trusted headhunters. Usually this is called a "cowork," but without a "cowork," it would be nearly impossible to handle a client properly with just one fairly large account.

So it's much more important that a headhunter has a lot of good headhunters around him or her. When a group of people is together, they can send a Coworker, but because they receive a lot more often, they can secure a lot of different positions and have a better chance of finding a good candidate.

4. Conclusion

In other words, it's better to avoid headhunters who brag about how good they are by themselves. It's not often that they're good at work. Rather, ask his search firm how many headhunters are in charge of the same field.

For example, when you ask, "How many head hunters are in charge of IT in your company?" the larger the number, the more favorable it is for the candidate. There will be synergy in cooperation. Of course, there can be co-working between different head hunters of different companies. However, there are more "constraints" than you think because the money problem is intertwined.
