Three important points for move to work

"People, work, money," everybody who works, they're all in these three conditions. There can be a lot of other factors, but I'm going to pick these three as the most important and important factors.

Conclusion first

So when is it right to change jobs? The answer can vary from person to person. So no one can give you the answer instead. But I have more than 30 years of work experience and 13 years of headhunting, so I have my own thoughts. Let me tell you that. It may just be my idea. If there's anything to do with a job change, I hope you'll be patient with your judgment.

1) If one of the three things I mentioned (people, work, money) is more or less right for you, and one of them doesn't seem right for you, it's just "go ahead!" It's almost impossible to get them all right anywhere, and it may seem like they're all right for a while, but over time, people tend to like or dislike one thing. It's normal to tolerate one thing or another. And that's how most office workers live their lives.

2) If you think one of the three is correct, and the other two do not suit you, "shift." If one is correct, it will be difficult to last long. Overbearing is not the answer. On the contrary, it often causes problems. Accidents and "disruption" usually result in "two things."

3) If you don't like all three of them, you should say, "Look back at yourself!!," which is usually "you" rather than "the company or the circumstances" causing the problem. You may be dissatisfied with everything, no matter how good the circumstances are. If that's the case, the solution should not be "transferring" -- you should look elsewhere.

4) If you like them all, consider how long it's been since everything has always been on your mind, and if they have been over three months, go to the hospital. People or conditions can be so perfect that they are almost impossible to exist. You may feel that way temporarily or emotionally, but in the long run, that means there is room for something to rethink.

1. People

I think "people" is the most important of the three factors. Like everywhere, the workplace is no different. If you have people you like and like, even if other factors are a little unsatisfactory, they can complement you. However, if you don't like "people," you will lose all your affection regardless of other factors.

Sometimes, I see that individualistic foreign "Western companies" have no "human relationship" and some people think that they only need to do their job well, but that is a big misunderstanding. For them, the human network is also a very important factor and a key factor that puts a lot of effort into managing it well. Moreover, the "Korean branch" is not entirely in the same atmosphere as a foreign company, but it is much more similar to a Korean company, although there are some differences in characteristics because most of the people working there are Koreans.

The term "person" refers directly to the "supervisor," "colleague" and "subordinate" that exist in the workplace. And there are many other types of people in the workplace. There can be people in other departments, there can be "partners" involved in business, there can be indirect departments (e.g., human resources/general affairs/management/accounting) that are not directly related to my work, and there are people in these departments who need to connect and socialize with them.

Of course, the most important of them is their 'boss, colleagues, and subordinates' that exist in their department.

2. Work

Everyone gets a job when they go to work. Whether it suits their aptitude or not is usually the second question. Rather, the question is whether I am good at the job or not. In this case, the criteria for "Can I do it well?" are mostly relative, so it is decided by comparison with other "employees" doing similar things within or within a department.

In the case of a small company, there may be only one person who does the job, but most of the seniors know other people who do the job, so they often make a rough estimate of whether this person is doing a good job or not.

While it is important to "work hard" because this comparison certainly exists, even though it may be harsh. However, if it is not immediately easy to "do well," you should at least "work hard." While you will not be given a permanent "chance," it is also true that "working hard" alone will give you a lot of plus because most people are given a certain amount of time and opportunity.

Even if the work is the same, there is a tendency that shows various aspects depending on the person performing the work. If there is a tendency that someone who gives me an order (mostly from above) wants, I will tell you that it is an important trick to perform accordingly. Interim reports on the progress should be made frequently so that you do not say a word to your favorite superiors until you finish them. In conclusion, even if you say you finished the work very well, you may not get a good evaluation.

The personality and talent of the person also have a significant impact. Whether someone who is burdened with "relationships" is in charge of "sales" or an active person is in charge of "management," it is not easy to continue for a long time, if not for a while. You can do it inevitably, but the performance is also weak, and it is easy for the person performing to become constantly "depressed."

3. Money

You may see some people commenting that "self-improvement" is what's important in a professional career and that "money" isn't that important. However, you are completely wrong. No matter how well-developed and self-satisfied a company is, if its salary is delayed by more than two months, most of its employees will leave it, and if it is delayed by three months, there will be no one left.

That's how much "reward" is necessary and important. For an average employee, "money" may be the most important factor in a way because it is the "object" necessary for themselves and their families to make a living. In the young Korean culture of "two sides, face and culture," some people feel ashamed to love "money" too much, but that doesn't mean that "money" doesn't matter.

So how much "money" can be an "appropriate reward"? That's a very difficult question. Most people who pay even a little more than their "friends and colleagues" don't have "complaints." However, even those who pay "hundreds of millions" or more are unhappy and unhappy with just 10,000 won less than their "compete in their hearts." That's why when an annual salary begins to exceed a certain "absolute income," some people call it "self-respect" rather than "impact."

When many companies sign annual contracts, they are advised not to "disclose your salary anywhere" and "make no specific mention of your salary with your co-workers" on the spot. However, because everyone is "curious," it is incredible to "make a promise" that it will only be kept.
