A word that goes in

Is the headhunting business a promising one? Or a declining one? The bottom line is that there are many elements that could be "specifications." AI or online are still being replaced. (AI matching is still a bit of a joke, but as always, I think it's going to be a scary one.)

However, even if a significant portion of it is declining, there will definitely be a part that survives. In particular, the "expensive commission" market, which is a lot of money, is clearly expected to survive.

Because, in any market, there's always a market where human intervention is the best or the only way. So I'm changing my choices and my focus.

1. Japital Story, Online, and Automating Recruitment

There's a Job Portal called Linkedin, which is owned by Microsoft. It's probably one of the most advanced services in the field of AI automation and onlineization in the recruiting market. Others include Glass Door and Indeed Door, which are mostly sites that post job postings. And LinkedIn is a site where people post their personal profiles, and at the same time, there are a lot of job postings.

LinkedIn is much more useful for head hunters like me or job seekers who want to change jobs, even though it may be an important site for all employees in the human resources department in charge of hiring at companies. Depending on how you post or expose yourself, job postings for a fee on glass doors or indicators can be expensive or cheap. However, it is too unresponsive for head hunters like us. However, it is a good place for job seekers to look around for an open position in the market.

I'm using LinkedIn Premier permission because I have to pay 200,000 won to 250,000 won per month (it depends on the exchange rate). But in my case, I think the response rate has dropped a lot these days. I'm looking for a cause.

2. How to differentiate between headhunter support and direct support and advantages and disadvantages

Some people look at negatively, saying, "What are the benefits of applying through the headhunter?" while others deliberately contact me, saying, "There are a lot of job postings on the job portal, so please recommend me for that position."

Generalist occupations such as human resources, general managers, accounting, administrative, administrative, operator, secretarial jobs are recommended through the Headhunter. Generally speaking, when open positions are open to miscellaneous positions, there is a chance that the Human Resources Recruiter will not be able to finish reading the resume because there are too many applicants. However, there is no HR manager who does not read the resume recommended by the Headhunter.

On the other hand, specialist occupations such as 'engineer, developer, consultant, and professional sales representative' are supported through headhunters, but there is no big difference if they apply directly to the public announcement. There are not many people in charge of human resources who don't read it because there are not many suitable applicants. However, if you apply through a headhunter, you may not feel the burden of having to call the human resources department directly when you are curious about the progress in the middle. And if you feel uncomfortable about calling a specific amount in numbers when negotiating annual salary, it's also helpful. Depending on one's personality, it can be a big help.

3. The reason why we don't use domestic famous miscellaneous goods masks well

In addition, domestic miscellaneous goods such as "People" and "Job Korea" may be a very good portal for job seekers, but head hunters like me rarely use it. Since pretty good resumes and candidates always go to several places at the same time and pass several places at the same time, top companies in domestic fields such as Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor, Naver, and Kookmin Bank, in other words, unless they search for positions of companies that unconditionally enter the company if they pass, they often get into other places even if they pass, so they don't spend much money because it's common to struggle and not make money.

Other than that, there are a lot of miscellaneous goods. However, even though I tried everything, they have their own characteristics, but I don't know the big difference. From Incruit, Rocket Punch, Remember Career, Wanted, Job Planet, People & Job, and Blind. Rather, I think the information and the reliability of the characters, such as a cafe where people from the same industry gather together to exchange information such as Nejeonta, Game Net, HR, and computer room, or Facebook groups where people with similar interests gather together, are better than any other miscellaneous goods. Joining a place like this and having Beautiful Contact is also very helpful for job turnover and job search.

The pool of candidates is large, and many companies looking for job openings are seeing that markets will gradually, gradually, and then one day suddenly expand, automate, and become online.

4. Offline Recruitment, Full Pool Search for Small Advanced Workforce Market

In some cases, however, there is a recruiting market where "meeting" is the best way to do it. Whether you're a candidate or HR, there are places where it's best to connect with people you know. No matter how hard it is to say it's an online all-round era.

There are some head hunters I know who are looking for "high-end developers or CTO-level personnel" and who go to large bookstores such as Kyobo Bookstore to take notes of the authors' names and e-mail addresses in the introduction of the authors, and then send emails one by one to meet all the people who respond. They are extremely sincere. I think their physical strength and passion are incredible.

Some people visit all kinds of seminars called seminars and collect the instructors' business cards and the business cards of the sales representatives who came out to respond to customers in the booth.

And even though I'm not searching for a particular position, I keep texting, drinking coffee and eating together, :-)

Conclusion

Head hunters, who used to use their insights to select the best candidate among numerous candidates online, are getting narrower, but the market for high-quality human resources, which is small and has few targets, will probably not be able to keep up with the efficiency of diligent people who sell their products offline, no matter how advanced AI and online are. This is because headhunting is a connection between "people" and "people," and offline has a powerful weapon called "face," which can never be possessed online.
